Our Story

Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center

Our Mission

The purpose and passion of the Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center is to provide comprehensive patient care, while discovering new treatment options to improve the quality of life for all Parkinson’s patients.

Since 1988, the Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center (PICC) has revolutionized the treatment and research of Parkinson’s disease (PD) by providing world-class patient care and leading groundbreaking discoveries aimed to close the gap between science and care.

Our team of physicians and distinguished researchers created a new, integrated model that puts the patient and their family at the center of Parkinson’s care and research.

As America’s only independent non-profit organization combining research and patient care for Parkinson’s and other related movement disorders under one roof, we changed the landscape of movement disorders treatment and research.
