Each year we host a variety of patient education events where caregivers, patients, and family members learn about topics relative to Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative disorders and can ask questions of our movement disorders specialists.

Parkinson’s and related movement disorders patients and caregivers are invited to join us as Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center neurologists who specialize in movement disorders present and discuss:

  • What is tremor and the common causes
  • How a clinician diagnoses tremor
  • Current treatment and management of tremors:
    • Focused Ultrasound
    • DBS
    • Neuromodulation
    • Medication
    • Adaptive devices
